PORTO RICO |
The Museum of the Sea was founded in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 27, 2007 by Continental Shipping, Inc. Founder and President José Octavio Busto. As a result of Busto’s life-long passion for the ocean and navigation – including his 15 years as a merchant marine and his enthusiasm for the preservation of key relics of nautical history – he established a museum in which objects from his vast collection can be viewed, for the enjoyment and educational enrichment of one and all. |
